Elizabeth (Betty) Taylor Peffer entered eternity on February 8, 2021. She was born in Warwick County, Virginia on May 30, 1925. She loved the farming life which no doubt instilled her habit of getting up at 4:30 AM every single day! Charles was a Plant Supervisor at Air Products and Chemicals for 23 years. He was a longtime resident of Hampton and lived in the Fox Hill area for the past 48 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, George M. and Pauline Hudson Blaylock. She was a lifelong member of Ivy Memorial Baptist Church. More recently, she served in local and state leadership roles in the National Active and Retired Federal Employees Association. If not driving her children all over town in a wood panel station wagon and the later embarrassingly in an AMC Pacer while singing along with the radio out of key, she was driving cancer patients to treatment or cerebral palsy children to school. Dave quickly advanced through the enlisted ranks achieving many commendations, including “Sailor of the Quarter” once and “Sailor of the Year” twice. She was a member of Northside Christian Church. On Tuesday, January 19, 2021, Raymond “Berry” Drinkard, loving husband, father, and friend passed away at home with his wife and daughters by his side at the age of 57. When she was six years old, the family moved to Wood Dale, Illinois where she grew up. Doris Anne is survived by her son, Tommy, her daughter, Teri Forman (Donald); two grandchildren, who she adored, Ashley Forman and Kelly B. Forman (Allison); she was also blessed with four great-grandchildren, Ava Lily, Greyson, Vale Bryant, and Savannah. Guests are required to wear a mask and maintain social distancing. Berry had a passion for fixing things and learning new trades which allowed him to be a good provider for his family.
